Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for various projects, including IoT devices, robotics integrations, and specialized hardware solutions.
• Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software, ensuring designs meet specifications for functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Conduct simulations and analyses (e.g., FEA) to validate designs, predict performance, and identify potential failure points.
• Lead prototyping efforts, from initial concept models to functional prototypes, iterating designs based on testing and feedback.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes, considering factors such as strength, durability, weight, cost, and environmental impact.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including software developers, electronics engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with digital solutions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and manufacturing instructions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues during development, testing, and deployment phases.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes, tools, and methodologies within Pirotan Technolabs.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Proficiency in industry-standard CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, and material science.
• Experience with various manufacturing processes such as 3D printing, CNC machining, injection molding, and sheet metal fabrication.
• Demonstrated ability to take a product from concept through to production.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software.
• Familiarity with IoT hardware design, sensor integration, or robotics.
• Knowledge of mechatronics and basic electronics principles.
• Experience working in a technology or software development company.
