Senior React Native Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior React Native Developer with 4 to 7 years of experience to lead mobile development at Creuto. You will own the architecture and delivery of our cross-platform mobile applications, mentor junior engineers, and set the technical direction for mobile at Creuto.

In This Role, You Will

• Lead the design and development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
• Architect scalable mobile codebases that balance performance, maintainability, and developer experience.
• Define and enforce mobile engineering standards including code quality, testing, and release processes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level React Native developers through code reviews, pairing, and direct coaching.
• Own the mobile CI/CD pipeline and manage App Store and Play Store release processes.
• Make key decisions on state management, navigation architecture, and native module integration.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define mobile feature requirements and technical feasibility.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and ensure a consistently smooth user experience.

You Might Thrive in This Role If You

• Have 4 to 7 years of React Native development experience with multiple apps shipped to production.
• Have led or significantly influenced the technical direction of a mobile engineering team.
• Are deeply proficient in TypeScript and have strong opinions on mobile architecture and code quality.
• Have experience with native modules and are comfortable in Xcode and Android Studio when needed.
• Are an effective mentor who makes the engineers around you better.

Bonus If You Have

Experience with Reanimated 2 and complex animation systems.

Knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development.

Experience integrating AI or LLM features into mobile applications.

Contributions to the open-source React Native ecosystem.
