Senior Software Architect (Cloud Services and Analytics Platform) (m/f/d) - Bangalore

LOCATION: Bangalore, India

THE ROLE

In our software development department, we develop enterprise grade applications in the context of endpoint management and device analytics.

Our architects accompany the entire software development process and define architecture and design for various backend and frontend components.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define software architecture for complex applications and features or refactoring of large scope

• Join cross-team architect board to discuss architecture proposals, define architecture changes, product strategies and goals

• Create proof of concepts for new features with significant impact on the existing product

• Review existing implementation and propose architecture improvements

• Provide architectural guidance to teams

• Organize architecture training courses

• Stay informed aboutarchitecture trends and propose modernizations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in computer science, mathematics, IT or relevant professional experience with qualified technical training

• Minimum of 5 years ofexperience as software developer including architecture tasks (2+years)

• Experience with high frequency data processing pipelines, analytics environments (MQTT, Kafka, Time Series database) and APIs

• Experience globally scaled high load cloud services

• Profoundexperience in cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS)

• Confident in using Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficient in Python and cloud scripting technologies

• Proficient in object-oriented programming (Java, Spring Boot)

• Basic knowledge in Angular

• Experienced in CI/CDand build & release management

• Embrace AI to increase quality and productivity in the whole development process

• Able to work on complex tasks with many factors, some of which are difficult to determine

• Willing to familiarize oneself with new topics and to design and implement new solutions as part of a team

• Having no problem grasping complex contexts and working out content independently
