Sr. Software Architect-React or Angular

As a Full Stack Senior Software Architect at Ericsson, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end architecture and hands-on delivery of modern, scalable full-stack solutions within the Self-Service Platform (SSP). Your expertise in Java/Spring Boot and JavaScript/TypeScript front-end frameworks will be crucial in defining reference patterns, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust, secure, and production-grade platform capabilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

• Architect and deliver full-stack solutions encompassing UI, APIs, integration, and runtime with a focus on defining Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) such as performance, scalability, resiliency, and security.
• Design and develop modern web UIs using Angular/React, emphasizing state management, component architecture, performance optimization, and secure coding practices.
• Develop REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot, taking ownership of API contracts, versioning, authentication/authorization, and backward compatibility.
• Apply Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, SOLID design patterns, and clean architecture practices while leveraging multithreading and concurrent programming to optimize JVM and service performance.
• Integrate with Kafka message bus, design event contracts, and implement consumer/producer patterns including confluent-kafka integration where applicable.
• Write and maintain high-quality unit tests using JUnit, containerize apps with Docker, deploy via Kubernetes/Helm, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
• Champion Agile practices, mentor engineers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive architecture and delivery excellence across teams.

**Qualifications Required:**

• B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience in software engineering/architecture, demonstrating strong ownership of end-to-end product delivery.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture and REST API design using Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, with hands-on experience in Angular or React.
• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, design patterns, multithreading, and performance tuning.
• Proficient in writing high-quality unit tests using JUnit, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for cloud-native deployments.
• Familiarity with Git/GitLab, Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Linux/Unix environments.

In addition to the above qualifications, experience with GitLab CI pipelines, Apache/Confluent Kafka, Python, C++, cloud-native architecture principles (e.g., 12-factor, observability, resilience), and open-source contributions would be advantageous.
