As an Android Developer, you will be a key member of our team. You will create responsive, high-performance user interfaces and work closely with backend teams to deliver seamless product experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Android applications.
• Develop clean, scalable, and reusable code using Kotlin or Java.
• Build responsive and user-friendly Android interfaces.
• Work with Activities, Fragments, RecyclerView, Navigation, and Android lifecycle components.
• Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON-based data.
• Implement authentication, validations, local storage, and application workflows.
• Work with databases such as Room, SQLite, or similar technologies.
• Use Android Jetpack components and recommended development practices.
• Debug and resolve application crashes, bugs, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment activities.
• Optimize applications for performance, stability, and responsiveness.
• Maintain application documentation and follow coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development technologies and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

• 1–3 years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong knowledge of Kotlin or Java.
• Good understanding of Android SDK and Android Studio.
• Experience with:

  • Permissions
• Strong understanding of XML-based UI development.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and Retrofit/Volley.
• Knowledge of Git/GitHub.
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Architecture & Libraries

• Familiarity with MVVM architecture.
• Knowledge of Android Jetpack components.
• Understanding of ViewModel, LiveData, Room, and Navigation Component.
• Basic to good understanding of Coroutines.
• Familiarity with dependency injection such as Hilt/Dagger is an advantage.
• Understanding of Material Design and responsive layouts.

Firebase & Third-Party Integration

• Basic to good experience with Firebase services.
• Firebase Authentication and Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Crash reporting and analytics.
• Experience integrating third-party SDKs and APIs is an advantage.
