Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation and execution of detailed test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing, to identify software defects.
• Document, track, and retest bugs using appropriate bug tracking tools, collaborating closely with development teams.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies within an Agile environment.
• Learn and apply best practices in software testing to ensure the reliability and performance of our solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, project managers) to understand project scope and deliver high-quality products.
• Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect status to the QA Lead and project team.
• Participate in review meetings to understand requirements and provide feedback from a QA perspective.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and testing methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of any bug tracking tool (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Understanding of web and mobile application concepts.
• Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
