Laravel PHP Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, front-end developers, and project managers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
• Design and implement efficient and scalable database schemas (MySQL).
• Integrate third-party APIs and develop custom APIs for various services.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues, bugs, and other software-related problems.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conception to deployment and maintenance.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Proven professional experience as a PHP Developer with strong expertise in the Laravel framework.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL, including database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
• Ability to write and consume RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with automated testing platforms and unit tests.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
