Node.js Developer - Fresher

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and JavaScript.
• Build scalable and efficient REST APIs using Express.js.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following development best practices.
• Work with databases such as MongoDB and MySQL for data storage and management.
• Implement API integration and handle JSON-based data.
• Work with asynchronous programming using Async/Await and Promises.
• Implement basic authentication and authorization using JWT.
• Work with middleware, error handling, and API validation.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA, and project teams to deliver high-quality applications.
• Perform debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of backend applications.
• Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Stay updated with the latest Node.js and backend development technologies.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript ES6+.
• Understanding of Express.js and REST API development.
• Knowledge of MongoDB and MySQL.
• Understanding of Mongoose and database concepts.
• Basic knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Understanding of JSON and API Integration.
• Knowledge of Async/Await and Promises.
• Basic understanding of JWT and Authentication.
• Understanding of Middleware and Error Handling.
• Familiarity with npm and Git/GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of Postman for API testing.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for learning and developing a career in backend development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, academic, or personal project experience using Node.js.
• Experience developing REST APIs using Express.js.
• Familiarity with MongoDB, MySQL, Mongoose, and database operations.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and API security.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern backend development workflows.
• Basic knowledge of Docker or cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Exposure to real-world web development projects is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced development environment.
