Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Telecom Network Automation and experience in Python Scripting, Linux, Jenkins, Selenium, and Python Automation Frameworks.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing automation solutions for telecom network operations, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The role requires strong programming and scripting capabilities along with a good understanding of telecom networks and automation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Telecom Network Automation
Develop and maintain automation solutions for Telecom Network configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Automate repetitive network operations and workflows to improve efficiency, reliability, and service delivery.
Work with network and cross functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
Python Automation AND Scripting
Develop robust automation scripts using Python for network and operational workflows.
Build, enhance, and maintain Python Automation Frameworks for scalable and reusable automation.
Develop scripts for API integration, test automation, network validation, and operational tasks.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing Python automation scripts and frameworks.
Linux AND DevOps
Work extensively in Linux environments for scripting, automation execution, troubleshooting, and application support.
Integrate automation workflows with Jenkins and support CI cd pipelines.
Maintain and troubleshoot automated jobs and execution pipelines.
Test AND GUI Automation
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
Automate functional and regression testing for applications and network-related workflows.
Identify opportunities to improve test coverage and reduce manual effort through automation.
Collaboration AND Documentation
Collaborate with Network, DevOps, QA, and SRE teams to design and implement automation solutions.
Document automation frameworks, scripts, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
Participate in debugging, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of automation processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with agile/scrum workflows and task tracking tools.
