QA Automation Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be a key member of our team. You will work on real-world products, contribute to architecture decisions, and help improve development standards across the team. This is a hands-on role suited for professionals who enjoy building reliable software and solving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and execute test cases for functional, regression, and API testing.
• Report defects with clear reproduction steps and verify fixes.
• Improve test coverage and quality checkpoints before each release.
• Work with developers to reproduce edge cases and validate hotfixes.
• Maintain test documentation and support UAT where required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant software development experience (flexible for strong candidates).
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, version control, and debugging.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Good communication skills for coordinating with product, QA, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with agile/scrum workflows and task tracking tools.
• Exposure to production deployments, monitoring, or CI/CD is a plus.
