As a Senior Magento Developer, you will be a pivotal member of our team, instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications. Your expertise will directly contribute to our mission of delivering consumer-grade and enterprise applications that drive success and expand our own product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, maintain, and optimize Magento 2 e-commerce websites.
• Build and customize Magento 2 modules, extensions, themes, and functionalities.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Develop custom Magento modules using PHP and Magento coding standards.
• Work with Magento layouts, blocks, controllers, observers, plugins, events, and dependency injection.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, shipping providers, and external services.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and production bugs.
• Optimize Magento applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Work with MySQL for database queries, optimization, and data management.
• Perform Magento upgrades, patches, and version migrations when required.
• Use Git and other version-control tools for source-code management.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, project managers, and other developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Participate in deployment, testing, debugging, and production support activities.

Required Technical Skills

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Magento development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture and development standards.
• Experience with:

  • Themes & Layouts
  • Plugins & Observers
  • Dependency Injection
  • Events
  • Cron Jobs
  • Indexing & Caching
  • Magento CLI
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database concepts.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on experience with Composer and Git.
• Knowledge of Linux-based development environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Magento 2.x upgrades and migrations.
• Knowledge of Knockout.js and RequireJS.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and shipping APIs.
• Knowledge of Magento performance optimization.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch.
• Understanding of Redis, Varnish, and Magento caching mechanisms.
• Experience with cloud/server deployment environments.
• Knowledge of PWA/Headless Magento is an advantage.
