As a Sr.Android Developer, you will be a part of our technology team and get the opportunity to work on real-world Android mobile application projects. You will work with experienced developers to build, maintain, and improve mobile applications using Java, Kotlin, Android Studio, and Android SDK. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Work with Android Studio and Android SDK for application development.
- Create responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces using XML.
- Develop and manage Activities and Fragments.
- Work with Android Jetpack components and RecyclerView.
- Integrate REST APIs and handle JSON data in mobile applications.
- Implement application features based on project requirements and UI designs.
- Work with local data storage using SQLite and other Android storage mechanisms.
- Integrate services such as Firebase where required.
- Follow Material Design principles to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Debug application issues and fix bugs under the guidance of senior developers.
- Perform basic application testing and help optimize application performance.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
- Collaborate with senior developers, designers, QA, and project teams.
- Follow coding standards and Android development best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Android development technologies and trends.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of Android Development.
- Good understanding of Java and/or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with Android Studio and Android SDK.
- Knowledge of XML and Android UI Development.
- Understanding of Activities and Fragments.
- Basic knowledge of Android Jetpack and RecyclerView.
- Understanding of REST API Integration and JSON.
- Basic knowledge of SQLite and Firebase.
- Familiarity with Material Design.
- Basic understanding of Android Lifecycle.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and Gradle is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of MVVM Architecture is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for learning and developing a career in Android development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic, or personal project experience in Android development.
- Experience building Android applications using Java or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with Android Studio, Android SDK, XML, Activities, Fragments, and RecyclerView.
- Basic experience integrating REST APIs into Android applications.
- Familiarity with Firebase and SQLite is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack.
