Mern Stack Developer

hannibal, a dynamic and growing Information Technology company with 11-50 employees, is seeking a talented and passionate Full Stack MERN Developer to join our agile team. This pivotal role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications from front to back, contributing significantly to our innovative projects and overall growth. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Design, implement, and consume RESTful APIs for seamless data flow between front-end and back-end services.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and share knowledge within the team.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our development practices.

Required Qualifications/Skills

• Proven professional experience as a MERN Stack Developer or similar full-stack role.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, etc.).
• Solid understanding and experience with Node.js and Express.js for building scalable server-side applications.
• Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
