As a WordPress Developer, you will be a part of our technology team and get the opportunity to work on real-world WordPress websites and web development projects. You will work with experienced developers to build, customize, maintain, and optimize responsive websites using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress.
- Work with PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to create and customize web pages.
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins according to project requirements.
- Assist in developing basic custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Work with the WordPress Admin Panel to manage website content and configurations.
- Create and manage Custom Post Types and website content.
- Integrate and work with WordPress REST APIs where required.
- Build responsive and user-friendly websites for different devices and browsers.
- Work with Elementor and other WordPress page builders.
- Assist with basic website SEO and performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, and layout problems.
- Collaborate with senior developers, designers, QA, and project teams.
- Follow coding standards, development best practices, and maintain proper documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest WordPress and web development technologies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of WordPress.
- Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL.
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery.
- Understanding of WordPress Theme Development.
- Understanding of WordPress Plugin Development.
- Knowledge of WordPress Customization and Admin Panel.
- Basic understanding of Custom Post Types.
- Familiarity with WordPress REST API is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of Elementor.
- Understanding of Responsive Web Design.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Passion for learning and developing a career in WordPress/web development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic, or personal project experience in WordPress development.
- Experience creating or customizing WordPress websites.
- Familiarity with themes, plugins, Elementor, PHP, and MySQL.
- Basic understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and modern web development workflows.
- Knowledge of WordPress SEO practices is a plus.
