As a QA Automation Engineer fresher, you will be a key member of our team. You will work on real-world products, contribute to architecture decisions, and help improve development standards across the team. This is a hands-on role suited for professionals who enjoy building reliable software and solving technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and prepare basic test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Execute manual test cases and support automation testing activities.
• Learn and develop automated test scripts under the guidance of senior QA engineers.
• Work with automation testing tools and frameworks.
• Perform API testing and validate application responses.
• Retest resolved defects and perform regression testing.
• Maintain test documentation and testing reports.
• Collaborate with developers to understand and resolve application issues.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings and testing activities.
• Continuously learn new testing tools, techniques, and best practices.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Understanding of manual testing concepts.
• Knowledge of test cases, test scenarios, bug reporting, and defect life cycle.
• Basic understanding of functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and integration testing.
• Basic programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Understanding of OOP concepts.
• Basic knowledge of Selenium WebDriver or any automation testing framework.
• Basic knowledge of API testing and REST APIs.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Automation Testing – Good to Have

• Basic hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
• Familiarity with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar frameworks.
• Basic understanding of Page Object Model (POM).
• Knowledge of XPath, CSS Selectors, WebDriver commands, and waits.
• Basic knowledge of Postman for API testing.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins is an advantage.

Agile & Tools

• Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect/project management tools.
• Understanding of Git and version-control practices.

Education

• B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates with relevant academic projects or internship experience are encouraged to apply.
