We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations at MakeMyGrocery, the grocery vertical under ULTRA RICH WEDDINGS LIMITED. As we expand beyond our elite matchmaking legacy into the FMCG and grocery distribution sector, we need a leader who can oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and dispatch. You will supervise a team, ensure food safety, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive productivity in a temperature-controlled grocery environment while upholding the excellence the Ultra Rich brand represents.
1. Warehouse Operations Oversight
Supervise daily shift operations including receiving, put-away, order selection, loading, shipping, and replenishment in grocery, perishable, and frozen warehouse environments.
Assign and manage workload among warehouse staff to meet daily order deadlines and customer expectations.
Ensure all orders are accurately fulfilled, performing quality assurance checks on products received and dispatched.
2. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and coordinate warehouse associates, providing continuous feedback and conducting regular team meetings.
Develop employee performance plans; utilize coaching to improve retention and employee relations.
Train associates on proper execution of quality, safety, and sanitation practices.
3. Inventory Management & Food Safety
Maintain accurate inventory control through cycle counts and reconciliations, addressing discrepancies promptly.
Enforce food safety policies and workplace safety procedures, ensuring proper handling of fresh, perishable, and frozen products.
Conduct routine safety, quality, and operational audits; encourage accountability among associates.
4. Performance Management & Reporting
Manage key KPIs: Safety, Retention, Productivity, Budget, Order Accuracy, and Shrink (loss prevention).
Generate productivity reports regarding labor standards; account for all labor hours and adhere to budget requirements.
Plan production and staffing needs on daily, weekly, and period basis to meet business demands.
5. Safety & Compliance
Promote a culture of safety and security awareness; conduct accident investigations per company guidelines.
Ensure warehouse is maintained in efficient, neat, and safe manner; report safety hazards immediately.
Maintain proper maintenance of equipment and report issues promptly.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
3–5 years of warehouse operations experience in grocery, FMCG, or distribution environment.
2+ years supervisory experience managing a team of 10+ warehouse associates.
Experience with fresh produce, perishable, or frozen food products strongly preferred.
Certification in forklift/pallet jack operation and food safety (HACCP) is a plus.
People Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse warehouse teams.
Inventory Control: Strong understanding of stock management, cycle counting, and order accuracy.
Safety-First Mindset: Deep commitment to workplace safety and sanitation standards.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions in fast-paced environment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanning, and MS Office (Excel, Word). Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (10-12 hours) and work in varied temperature environments.
Safely lift/push/pull merchandise up to 60–75 lbs with assistance as needed.
